Decision: Hiatus

There shall be no fancy images, or flowery words here. I'm just going to keep this simple.

Due to a lack of time and content, I'm putting TTP here on hiatus. I'm not quitting, but I need to let the pool refill a great deal and get my own priorties in order. I had thought they were, but I was wrong. I know I could probably want turn this over to someone else, but I think I would regret that.

So for the time being the blog will be left up as a sort of archive, but updates will be rare and long in coming.

I apologize deeply for getting up hopes and setting expectations, and I hope that once we return, you will be waiting.

Thank you.

A Moment of Silence

Here at TTP, we would like everyone to take a moment of silence for the artist, ArtOfThePony.

Ghost, as known as ArtofthePony, was only 15 when she passed last Sunday, something that blindsided friends, family, and the community as a whole. She was described as kind and loving, and in fact had baked a sugar-free cake for her dad that morning.

She was also an artist, the moderator for the tumblrpon Ask Stoned Trixie. She was a part of the early days of tumblrpon and the community has been rocked by her passing.

So if you are reading this, whether you knew her personally, slightly, or not at all, please take a moment to think how a family lost their daughter and sister. That a star that filled our night sky of Tumblr has faded and will never reignite.

Just take a moment to remember and thank her for all that she has done.

Not Quitting Yet

There are many of us that wish to do many amazing things, but more often than not we find that time is fleeting, and responsibilities burden our backs to the point where our loves and interests fall from our grasp.

This has been the case with myself and other members of the staff. Life has been catching up to us and there are feelings of discontent in trying to bail out a sinking ship when there are many other things that we have to focus our time and attention on.

For the past year though, I have met many people and artists, listened to new music, and read new things. All revolving around ponies and the many ways they can be hurt. It was glorious, and I don't want it to stop.

I'm not quite ready to stop bailing yet.

Is this going to be a magical and awesome rebirth? No.
Is content all of a sudden gonna increase greatly? No.

I'm merely going to try to put more effort into this and hope for the best.

If you want to help, submit things, everything. Music, News, Art, Games, Fan-Fics, if its pony and its bloody, we want it.

So lets start again.

Apology & Lore: My Little Pony Theory

First off, let me apologize for our lack of activity lately. Us here at TTP have been dealing with issue out there in the infamous "real world" and have be unwillingly neglecting you all here.

To quote the man who this issue bugs quite a bit,
"Fuuuuuuuuuck."
            Scorched Wing

Fortunately, for the time being I have risen above whatever mire I was stuck under and have returned to try and give you something that will hold you over in the meantime.

With that, I present an interesting origin story that has been circulating around the internet for sometime and while it validity cannot be proven, it still proven an interesting read and shows us that that anything can be born from dark tidings, and vice versa

Pinkamina album by Decibelle

Pinkamina
, by Decibelle, is an album based on CrookedTrees’s old ask blog, Ask Pinkamina Diane Pie.
It is an eerie, ambient work, with each song conveying the mood, atmosphere, and even some events, of individual posts from askpinkaminadianepie.tumblr.com and is well worth a listen for any Pinkamena Diane Pie fan.

Decibelle is also currently having a special sale on the CD version – with bonus tracks – as a fundraising event. Details after the break!
